The Maryland Commission on Civil Rights can assist you if you believe you are a victim of discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, or state contracts because of your race, color, religion or creed, sex, age, ancestry or national origin, marital status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information (employment only), familial status (housing only), and/or ​source of income (housing only). You may file a complaint of discrimination with the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights by clicking here.

The Asian Pacific Planning and Policy Council (A3PCON), Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA), and the Asian American Studies Department of San Francisco State University launched the Stop AAPI Hate reporting center on March 19, 2020. The center tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, shunning, and child bullying against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.

Victims Rights Foundation

The Victims' Rights Foundation (VRF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Montgomery County, Maryland based volunteer group that performs volunteer support services on behalf of victims of violent crimes and attacks. www.victimsrightsfoundation.org/. VRF supports Asians who are victims of hate crimes. Hate crimes against Asian Americans have risen sharply nationwide since the COVID-19 pandemic. VRF launches fund to help this cause.
